The purpose of the assignment is to develop a report suitable for submission to the Council. The report must deal with the critical policy issues of the relevant legislation in NSW. You may assume the use is permissible on the land (but need to identify how it is and what other standards apply). The report should be approximately 3,500 words in length plus appendices.
Participants are required to locate a parcel of land on the urban bushland interface and prepare a plan for a subdivision. There are to be at least 20 residential allotments/homes in the final design. You should look at the appropriate State planning documents to guide you in this process. You will be significantly marked down if you cannot comply with the planning requirements for your jurisdiction.
